 In my group project. I have researched mainly on the desirability of implementing a smart cart in Singapore. I came across a article, "Here's why more than half of Singaporeans still prefer in-store shopping". Where it states that even though majority of Singaporeans shoppers prefer to browse online web store before visiting its respective physical store, 56% of shoppers still prefer to buy in-store as they will be able to validate the product's quality before purchasing. Next i have researched on the ergonomics of a smart cart, where we take into account variables that we have to take note such as the overall speed of the cart to accommodate to our walking speed. Research pathway

Shaun and I have decided to research the indoor farming system because we felt it was relevant to Singapore. To kickstart our research, we relied on ChatGPT to provide us with an overview of different technologies and mechanisms used in indoor farming systems.  With the help of ChatGPT, we decided to narrow down to an automated nutrient delivery system. Using google and YouTube, we managed to gain more insights on the features of this automated nutrient delivery system. We then googled some indoor farms in Singapore using this technology and also companies that produce this delivery system. From this process, we also found out that the Singapore food agency (SFA) has a ‘30 by 30’ goal. The goal is to build up Singapore’s indoor farming systems such that it is capable of producing 30 percent of Singapore’s nutritional needs sustainably by 2030. From the articles, we have also identified the benefits and limitations of the system.
